How to remove points on a line?

Post by joebywan » Sat Sep 05, 2020 1:51 am

I'm trying to edit a DXF. This is using the latest version 3.25.1 on windows 7

I'd like to remove part of a line, The picture shows what I'm talking about. I'd like to remove the cut out and have it result in a straight line (forgive my mspaint skills).

I'm trying to get away from using rdworks as it won't export dxf's, so figured I'd give Qcad a go.

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
QcadPro, QcadCam, Win11/64, 64GB RAM, 10-Core, SSD

What we see is probably a polyline ...
In that case 'Delete Node' OD (in the Draw .. poly menu)
Pls read the 'Forum rules' at the top of the page.
