is it possibe to compile a standalone version of qcad, so I can run it from my pen drive?

So qcad does not need any libraries of the OS at all?

QCAD does need various system libraries (like any other software). These libraries need to be present on the system where QCAD is run. However, these are all standard libraries which are typically present on every installation of that system.
