Hello from the Atlantic coast of Canada.
I'm a big fan of the OSS (open-source software) concept. I'm using QCAD for the first time and so far so good. It's a replacement for DraftSite because the people at Dassault are now charging a lot of money to subscribe.
Mostly, I'm doing blueprints for home renovation and new construction.

I was searching last winter the www for pics regarding a landmark at your location. I found what I was looking for, used QCAD Pro for the plans and built a garden sculpture just for fun.
I assume you know what I'm talking about ....
