My apologies if this has been asked before (although did have a check of the forum message but nothing came up). I am new to QCAD so just looking around the software at present (and it looks good). However, when I want to "Save As", the default file location is my username folder on C:drive. However, I would like to save my files to another hard drive partition (W:drive) but looking at the preferences, I can't see where this can be set up. Any help would be appreciated.

The Save As dialog remembers the last used location, so if you save a file to your preferred folder, QCAD will suggest the same folder for the next file you save using Save As.
