Software needed?

I have an ArcDroid plasma robot. I am looking for software to make drawings with.
Do I need QCAD? OR do I need QCAD/QCAM?

What's the difference between free, trial and paid? All I want to do is draw a few parts on occasion.

Thanks

Hi,
And welcome to the forum.

There are a few topics concerning ArcDroid, simply enter the search term 'ArcDroid'.
As far as I know it supports dxf files as well as common G-Code.

To draw something in dxf then QCAD would be enough, QCAD Professional provides even more tool/methods for a small fee.
QCAD Trial (See: Download Page) is in fact QCAD Professional to evaluate for a limited time, limited number of runs.
After that you can get a licence or convert it to QCAD CE (free).

To export G-Code one requires QCAD/CAM what is QCAD Professional with CAM addon.
Again, the version on the download page is a Trial version.
Another (Free) CAM that handles dxf can be used too.
